Wallem Welcomes World’s Oldest Tall Ship To Hong Kong

NewsStandOnline.Net (21-June-2016): The world’s oldest full rigged tall ship, the Norwegian Sørlandet, sailed into Hong Kong harbour this morning.

The ship, which was built in 1927, is on a two-year circumnavigation, crewed by students from A+ World Academy, an onboard boarding school comprising of international students from six different countries.

Thanks to vast experience in providing quality and efficient port services for a wide range of vessel types, Wallem Ship Agencies has been appointed port agent for the vessel.

Wallem has therefore assisted with all pre-arrival arrangements and in-port services for the vessel’s stay in Hong Kong.

The tall ship will remain docked at Pier 8 next to the Maritime Museum where a graduation ceremony will be held for the students of A+ World Academy.
