It smashed head-on into the van, which was travelling along the northbound lane of Tin Yiu Road.

The 30-year-old driver of the McLaren, who was not the car’s registered owner, got a scratch on his neck and was taken to Tin Shui Wai Hospital. The driver of the delivery van, also 30, was unhurt.

A police spokesman said both drivers passed a breathalyser test and no one was arrested.  The British-made McLaren was bought for more than HK$4 million (US$510,000) in 2012, according to car registration record.
